i hope soon we will be allowed to change/adjust our settings before we start the 2nd half of the game..

sometime when our players got injured no substitutions are made even if players are available in the box, i experienced playing with only 7 players in the 2nd half though i still manage for a draw, a one minute break will do..thanks.

Well you see, users are complaining already that the 10 minutes before each game is too long for settings, if you add more time in at half time I fear an uproar.

hehehe yeah ive read those threads, but i think there's just a few of them while my suggestion if granted will surely benefit the rest..u see 11:11 is kinda game of tactics like a chess game it takes a move to win. biggrin.gif

I think it's a good suggestion. However, the match result is decided once it is kick off. All the events the will happen on the pitch are already decided.

u can decrease the time to 7 min or so & give 1min-1.5min @ half time, this would make it fine i guess

i think it would be possible if they only commence(decide) the 1st half then after submitting @ half time the 2nd half is commenced(decided).


if one of the players didnt submit @ half time his 'before the match settings' applies

Hey there,interesting post!
We can ask for more simple thing than dividing the game in two halves or decreasing the time of submission!
Like in substitutions,when U can choose the case,an injury,after the xx minute,when the score is x:x.
they can add another link,may be instead of tasks,in it we can choose three options to change the tactics & the attacking % at exact time or after a certain score!
Ex. after 75 min,if the score is 0:0,play long ball.
I know some sites use it!

hi keem, nice point, this could be a very useful post here,
those 2 options (splitting halves & increasing the options u mentioned) were evolving hugely in my head i was thinking about which one could be implemented easily for the developers. i really hope to see both in the game wink.gif maybe introducing what u said then splitting the commencing into 2 halves with the hailf time submission.

[font=Comic Sans Ms][color=#3366FF] Hey Khodee,I'm not a fan of splitting the game in 2 halves,It will extend the game time immensely in a boring way!I think increasing the time of submission is not an option too coz as the Mod said ppl are asking for it to be smaller!
I don't know wt the admin think of my idea about adding those options,it depends on the system of simulating the result as well!

Sometimes 10 minutes looks like too much, but we must think about others that need to work while playing. It is a fair time.

About 2nd half changes... I always saw manager games with halftime breaks, and was astonished because this one dont have it. Indeed i learned to play without it. If we have players on the bench, the game do the substitution with someone of same position. We can set substitutions, before the game starts. I think half time would be a bad idea, for the admins the simulation system would have to be set twice as first and second half, and to wait one more minute is a crazy idea. I think this game is unique and we have an alternative to not have half time breaks.

firstly, i said decrease the time before the match to 7 mins or so and giving half of them (1.5mins) for half time by this we reduce the waiting time by 1.5mins.

secondly, i agree with keems suggestion of having more options in the tactics,

Naaah.

Easy and best way to fix it:

Reduce the waiting time to 5 mins and treat a game like if it were 2 games... i explain:
  1. You start a game, but instead of having 10 mins to send your schem, you'd just have 5 mins.
  2. At half time, you have another 5 mins to change your schem, but the players on reserve (the vertical line to the left ) won't appear available
  3. After you send your schem, the 2nd half starts.
*At the end the results of these two halves (treated inside the game as two separated games, or as a "mini tournament" for easy programming) just get added (score, yellow/red cards, injuries, player scores, etc).

*If a player doesn't show up for the 1st half, it can start playing on 2nd, starting with a 0-1 loss, if he (or she) doesn't show up after that, the usual 3-0 for technical lost appears.

*On a tournament's statistics, you can display the partial result of half time (with report and 2nd view) or, if ended, the final result (adding a "half time" or "final" sign).

See?? easy to do (programming wise), it doesn't consume more time than the way it is now (10 mins total) and totally fixes the problem of changing tactics mid-game.

The game is simulated once U click submit for 1st time,the result is generated in few seconds!While the 2D loads!
It's an easy,fast way to play,U can go to substitutions part & set subs U want for injury or the score line cases!
I believe it's the most reasonable way to play!This way U suggest was discussed & answered b4!
