Hi all. I don't know if you have noticed, but after a while our teams get more and more uncharacteristic, player nationality wise. I mean, once you start renewing your team with some of the free agents that become available, or by buying and selling players on the transfer market, the team gets less and less "national", to a point where one may not have a single player of their nationality.
I know that school players could solve the problem, but 1) they're too expensive; and 2) they're only available to levels 4 and above. Why not set a rule for the free agents, where half to 2/3 of them would be the same nationality of the team, and the rest would be random nationality (as happens now)? I know this can be done very easily by the developers, and would allow for a more realistic game. |

If you want to preserve majority of players of your nationality you are able to do so, contracting free agents is not mandatory. And no, you don't need to do it to advance in the game. Also, from a realistic point of view, every starting team has to make sacrifices maybe you are asking too much. At level 1-2 you are supposed to be a starting team, very poor and with the players no other team wanted. Maybe like a Spanish league 3... almost amateur. On level 3 your team is supposed to be finnancially able to go to the transfer market for first time, compare it to a Spanish league 2 team. On level 4 your team is established, maybe it has a respetable club house, and it can start building its own school so finally can solve the problem of players' nationality and start building its own identity. By the way, not all teams have a base of players of the local nationality, see Real Madrid or Inter milan for an example. ![]() |

On most countries, the base of teams comparable to levels 1-4 is national. Doesn't mean they don't have foreign players, and my proposal isn't that ALL free agents are national. But most should be. Besides, the school players are too expensive for most of us to use them... |
